About Coast Networks

At Coast Networks we’re made up of network engineers, not salesmen, and every single client that Coast Networks has supported since its inception 5 years ago has come from recommendation. We put this down to character, knowledge, hard work and customer service along with the ability to speak tech in plain English. Of course an in-depth technical insight in to IT networks has been a bonus here too!

Our aim since the beginning has been to provide a simple, no nonsense service, offering many of the same skills as larger firms but with lower overheads, meaning that clients get the same engineer at half the expense. A bold claim you may say? Well we’ve been doing it for years now and we don’t intend on changing it.

Being completely customer focused and having a love for Information Technology, in the past has sometimes felt like a curse. We are happy to tell you however that these days we consider this a gift and one which we’re very lucky to have. Technology has always been our passion and is our motivation to be in this business. We love bringing our passion to our clients and seeing the benefits that this brings them in business. Our clients, friends and family will all tell you the same thing. We love IT and we’re keen to provide excellent customer service. Phil Townsend - Microsoft Network & Systems Engineer

Phil has over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, with the last 7 of these working as a full time network engineer & consultant. Over the years Phil has supported and set up new networks for many different types of organisations including, a Royal institution, City livery companies, major public services companies, travel agencies, various consultancies and more. Phil's major strengths lie in his ability to rationalise the need for technical resources and infrastructure and assisting his clients in getting to grips with the technologies needed to run their business. Phil is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their best through service & technology delivered by Coast Networks.

David King – Microsoft Network & Systems Engineer

Dave is an excellent technical support technician with over 7 years in the industry; his skills range from troubleshooting PC’s to programming databases. Dave has both worked on and managed a technical help desk and over the last 5 years has been building on his experience by looking after various client side networks. Dave specialises in Windows based networking, Citrix Systems, SQL, and has a good grounding in Linux and Web Servers too, not to mention a few things about which some of us have no comprehension at all!.

Clive Hawkins – Microsoft Systems Engineer

Clive has over 20 years experience in the IT industry specializing in account management, installation and technical support. Having worked for a wide range of firms offering support to large scale and smaller businesses he is committed to high quality service and adopts an acute customer focus. Driven by the challenges of difficult or unfamiliar situations Clive applies a professional and logical approach to IT services.
